Inspired by our friends over at Noisy Elephant, and their blog guiding you through scheduling on Facebook, we’ve decided to put together something similar.
A step by step guide, bursting with tips and tricks on how to succeed using social media in business!
Eager to learn more? It’s your lucky day! Over at Snizl Learning, we’re providing a full, in-depth (yet remarkably quick and convenient) course that teaches individuals, employees and entrepreneurs about the modern fundamentals of succeeding using social media for business.
Let’s get stuck in…
Social media, a vast communication and entertainment hub, is riddled with some of the best innovative marketing and advertising. So, how do we join the club, get in the mix, benefit from this new-age monetization of technology?!
Here’s a few tips…
Optimise your social channels
This is super-duper important. Having social media channel fields filled out to their full potential boosts brand recognition, brand awareness and can increase traffic back to websites and online shops – meaning more sales!
Keep an eye on the Competition
How in a world of millions of similar businesses to yours, do we plan our next steps? Home in on successful competitors of course.
Are they using social media in a certain way to launch a new product? Are they doing something you haven’t seen before, and it’s raking in a tonne of engagement and interactivity? Morphe an inspired idea into one of your own and help grow your company.
Schedule content so that your brand is ‘always there’
Picture this: It’s Sunday, but it’s also Black Friday. Many smaller, independent businesses haven’t posted any content to promote their business because the small team are away on their day off. Your company though, have scheduled social media posts, promoting an offer and the sales are rolling in – now that’s using your initiative!
Check out this handy, short, image-based blog by Noisy Elephant explaining how to schedule content using Facebooks Creator Studio, it’s worth the read if more sales is a KPI of yours.
Read, monitor and capitalise on trends
Hopping on to trends is an extremely modern and tactical way of creating more engagement for your brand on social media. Find trends on Instagram and Twitter.
At the moment, polls on Instagram are incredibly popular to get your audience interacting with your page, then at the end of your poll, promote a deal, competition or sale – genius!
(Poll Idea: do a ‘This or That’ possibly including your products, or even food or movies! Remember, your audience is on social media to be entertained, so do just that.)
That’s it for now!
We’ll keep it short and sweet so you don’t get bored. But take action! Try these 4 methods for your business next week and see how they work.
